Activities for Coexistence with Suppliers
Through the Compliance Program, which was inherited from the holding company in June 2018, guidelines are presented to employees to ensure fair trade with suppliers. And we are preventing the occurrence of violations by monitoring of the compliance managers. In particular, we are conducting anti-corruption activities by using the checklist of the preliminary business consultation system when supply contracts are made with suppliers and checking for illegalities and unfair acts in advance. In addition, in order to encourage sustainable management practices to strengthen the ultimate competitiveness of suppliers, we established and shared supplier guideline in 2015. The Supplier Code of Conduct Guidelines is also disclosed to prospective suppliers. In order to enhance our social and environmental responsibility and to continuously improve our sustainability management capabilities, suppliers have voluntarily submitted a pledge to comply with the Supplier Code of Conduct Guidelines. 95% of our suppliers submitted the signed pledge as of 2020 year-end.
